Bring your artwork to the big screen.

Artists Rights Society is expanding opportunities for artists and estates to participate in film and television productions through our Film & TV Fast Track initiative.

ARS has been approached by major Hollywood studios and production companies seeking a faster way to license artwork for background, unreferenced uses in film and television. In response, ARS has developed a streamlined process that allows participating artists to provide pre-approved digital files of selected works for consideration by production clients.

How the Fast Track Works

Participating in the Film & TV Fast Track program gives production clients access to a selection of artworks that have been pre-cleared for qualifying background uses, helping make the licensing process faster and more efficient.

Artists who are interested in participating can:

1. Express your interest: Contact ARS at info@arsny.com to let us know you would like to participate in the Film & TV Fast Track program.

2. Submit digital files: ARS will provide participating artists with access to our image bank, where they can submit digital files of works they would like to make available for the program.

Mark Rothko, Untitled (Four Reds), 1957 in Mad Men, “The Gold Violin” (Season 2, Episode 7, 2008)

All approvals provided through ARS remain subject to the applicable licensing terms and limitations, including restrictions governing the use of the artwork and provisions concerning the destruction of reproductions or recreations after filming.

In today’s digital age, sharing your artwork in digital formats opens up a whole new world of possibilities. By submitting your digital files to us, you can maximize the possibility for that work to be used.

Why Participate?

Film and television offer artists new opportunities to reach audiences in unexpected ways. By making selected digital files available through the Fast Track program, participating artists can increase the possibility that their work will be considered for properly licensed uses in productions.

Whether your work appears briefly in the background of a scene or becomes part of the visual world of a production, seeing your art on screen can introduce it to entirely new audiences.

Interested in participating? If you are an ARS artist or estate and would like to learn more about the Film & TV Fast Track initiative, contact us at info@arsny.com.
