Frida Kahlo has a new role: manicure muse.
Artists Rights Society is excited to announce a collaboration with Never Have I Ever, the press-on nail brand known for transforming fine art into wearable designs. This limited-edition collection draws inspiration from two of Kahlo’s most iconic self-portraits: Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird (1940) and Self-Portrait (1948).
The set features miniature reproductions of both paintings alongside nails in deep crimson and soft nude pink, each accented with delicate 3-D pearls. It’s a fitting tribute to an artist who understood adornment as its own art form. Frida layered jewelry with intention, mixed textures with abandon, and paid meticulous attention to every detail – including her hands.
Each set includes 24 reusable almond-shaped nails in universal sizing, plus a complete application kit. It’s a way to carry a piece of Kahlo’s world with you, one fingertip at a time. Shop the collection here!
